CARERS SUPPORT GROUP new for 2016    (CLICK TO OPEN)

  Are you a Carer?

The person you care for can be a family member, friend or neighbour. Many carers take this role willingly out of a sense of love or committment. Others become carers because they feel that they have no choice. Caring for someone is often rewarding but can be demanding, isolating and stressfull. Carers may be worried about money or their own health. North Ayrshire Carers Centre is based at 174 High Street, Irvine. Telephone 01294 311333 or email northayrshire.carers@unity-enterprise.com. The centre offers carers impartial confidential help. The centre also offers a home visit service.

LAUNCH of KILWINNING CARERS SUPPORT GROUP

North Ayrshire Carers Centre intends to trial a SUPPORT GROUP for unpaid Carers in the Kilwinning Area.  The Dirrans Centre has kindly allowed us the use of their premises for this purpose.

In order to bring this to the attention of Kilwinning residents, I have displayed a Poster in the Reception Areas in the Surgery and you can download this (CARERS SUPPORT GROUP new for 2016)  at the top of the page as well.
