Appointment Changes from July 2021
Under our current appointment system, we are all aware that patients are struggling to get to speak to the doctor within a reasonable time. This has been unfortunately unavoidable due to Covid, GP illness and unprecedented demand.
In an effort to improve your access to appropriate medical advice, we will be changing our appointment system from the beginning of July.
Patients needing medical advice should phone any day between 8.30am-11.00am Monday to Friday. You will be asked by our Reception Team to give a brief idea of what the problem is and then the appropriate clinician will call you back. For this new system to be successful we will not be able to offer pre-bookable doctor's appointments.
Please remember that your problem may be dealt with by our experienced
Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) which include:-
- Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)
- Mental Health Practitioners (MHPs)
We hope by making these changes you will be assessed quicker and seen by the appropriate person.

Urgent Care Poster - Right Care / Right Place
Our GP practices and Community Pharmacies are working incredibly hard to keep their services operating and medicine supply flowing in this extremely challenging time.
Medicines are NOT in short supply. Please only order the medicines that you need from your GP practice. Do not order all of your medicines automatically every time. Please tell the practice which pharmacy you wish to collect medicines from. GPs and Community Pharmacies will work together to ensure you get your medicines when they are due. Pharmacies are extremely busy, please allow at least FIVE days from ordering your medicine to collection from the Community Pharmacy.
If you have any COVID-19 symptoms (new continuous cough, fever, shortness of breath) or had contact with someone with corona virus DO NOT go to your Community Pharmacy. Stay at home and self-isolate. Please ask someone else to collect your medicines

Patients will receive a Confirmation Text within 1 hour of booking a future Appointment.
Then a reminder Text 48 hours prior to the appointment Date & Time

The Surgery will close for lunch every day from 12.45pm until 1.45pm
